The Fort Smith Mayors Prayer Breakfast is an annual event in the River Valley that honors the public and military officials and authorities who lead, protect, and govern our local communities. It is the oldest event of its kind in the State of Arkansas and one of the oldest in the country.

Brig Gen (ret) John “Dragon” Teichert
After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University, John entered the United States Air Force as an F-15E combat pilot.
