Set aside this special weekend for an unforgettable opportunity to invest in one of God’s greatest gifts—your marriage.

Join couples from across Hawaiʻi as we step away from the noise and distractions of everyday life to reconnect, be refreshed, and grow stronger together through faith, encouragement, and fellowship.

We are honored to welcome special guests, Tim & Sue Philpot.

Most people still know Tim as “Judge” after serving more than 14 years as a Family Court Judge in Lexington, Kentucky. Prior to retiring in 2018, Tim devoted his professional life to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most meaningful relationships with wisdom, truth, and compassion.

Tim and Sue have been married for more than fifty years and bring a powerful testimony of enduring love, faithfulness, grace, and perseverance. Sue, the daughter of Methodist missionaries, spent much of her childhood growing up in the Belgian Congo. Today, Tim and Sue reside in Loxley, Alabama, while continuing to invest in marriages and families around the country.

Each summer, they escape to the highlands of Scotland to enjoy sweater weather, long walks, meaningful conversation, and time together on and off some of the world’s greatest golf courses.

This retreat will provide couples with practical encouragement, biblical wisdom, authentic connection, and dedicated time to strengthen the foundation of their marriage relationship.

Tinker Bridge Reconstruction: What You Need to Know Before You Visit

September 17, 2026
If you’re planning a visit to Bellows AFS, please allow a little extra time and read this before you head out.
Effective August 25, 2026, all traffic entering and exiting Bellows Air Force Station is being rerouted through MCTAB Gate 10 while the Tinker Bridge Reconstruction project is underway. This detour is expected to remain in effect through November 2027, though dates are subject to change based on construction timelines.
What to expect:
  • All vehicles must use the designated detour route through MCTAB Gate 10
  • Have your valid ID ready when arriving at the gate
  • Allow an extra 5 to 10 minutes for travel time
  • The 15 MPH speed limit is strictly enforced along the detour route — Security Forces are actively monitoring
  • Passing is prohibited on the detour route
  • Pedestrians are not permitted on the detour route at this time
Why 15 MPH matters:
This alternate route is the only accessible road to Bellows AFS for the duration of the project. Keeping to 15 MPH helps reduce potholes and road damage, prevents disruptive closures, keeps traffic moving smoothly, and reduces dust for everyone on the road.
For questions, contact Security Forces at (808) 259-4200 or (808) 448-4916.
