About the speaker......
Ryan was raised in a Christian home and a strong church on Signal Mtn., TN. He graduated from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a BA in Political Science and continued his education with an MBA from Bryan College. In his early adult years, Ryan became hooked on opioids after suffering an injury. For the next 11 years, his life was marked by brokenness in addiction. Ryan made the decision to enter Renew in October of 2019 after a near death experience, and the Lord began working at that time to transform his life, restore his marriage and family, and give Ryan another chance in life. He worked in the logistics industry in Chattanooga for most of his career until being called to join Renew as Director of Community Relations in 2024 to oversee fundraising and relationship building as Renew was preparing to launch as a non-profit. Ryan is married to his wife, Kimberly, and they have five children: Christian, Tori, Zeke, Alaina and Knox. Ryan and his family attend The Point Church on Signal Mtn., TN.
